1Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing or using the ZArchiver app ("the app", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the app.

You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into this binding agreement under applicable law.

2License to use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ZArchiver on iOS devices that you own or control, in accordance with App Store rules.

This license does not permit you to:

  • Copy, distribute or resell the app.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code.
  • Remove copyright notices or proprietary labels.
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

3Accounts & cloud connections

ZArchiver lets you connect third-party cloud services (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox). When using these connections:

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You must have the legal right to the accounts you connect.
  • Use of those services is also subject to each provider's own terms — the Google Terms of Service, the Microsoft Services Agreement and the Dropbox Terms of Service.
  • You can disconnect at any time to revoke access.

ZArchiver only accesses the data needed to provide its features and complies with each provider's API terms. We do not sell your cloud data or use it for advertising — see our Privacy Policy for full details.

4Your content

You retain full ownership of the files, documents and content you manage with ZArchiver. We claim no ownership over your content.

Because content is processed locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up and managing your data. We recommend keeping backups of important files.

Note: ZArchiver is offered as a free download and may display advertisements. Any optional paid features are billed through the Apple App Store and managed in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; refunds are handled under Apple's policy, as we do not process payments directly.

5Prohibited conduct

When using ZArchiver, you agree not to:

  • Use the app to store or distribute illegal or copyright-infringing content.
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or exploit vulnerabilities in the app.
  • Use the app in any way that breaks local or international law.
  • Abuse the WebDAV sharing feature to gain unauthorized access to others' data.

6Intellectual property

The ZArchiver app — including its design, logo, source code, graphics and all content we provide — is our property and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

ZArchiver is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation or Dropbox, Inc. "Google Drive", "OneDrive", "Dropbox" and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners, used here for identification purposes only.

7Third-party services

The app integrates third-party services (Firebase, AdMob, Apple StoreKit and the cloud providers). We are not responsible for the content, policies or operation of those services. Your use of them is governed by their respective terms.

8Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost.

9Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages — including but not limited to data loss, lost profits or business interruption — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

10Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with a "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised terms.
